Kevin Yttrup is a second generation home builder and has been designing and building homes since he was a teenager. His father, Bill Yttrup, built single family homes in the Sacramento area in the 1970’s and Kevin grew up with a fascination for the home building process.
His young career began with a hands-on approach. Working on projects for his father, Kevin quickly became familiar with the important elements that go into a home. Transitioning from the trades into his first “turnkey custom home” at the young age of 24, Kevin quickly made a name for himself as a custom home builder, known for the quality of his designs, product and the building process itself, bringing a level of attention to detail rarely seen in the industry. These elements of home building have become a hallmark throughout his career.
Kevin’s integrity and dedication to deliver an exceptional home buying experience, to each and every one of his home buyers, is of the utmost importance to him. In 1994, Kevin decided to bring his design sense and attention to detail to the production home building industry and Premier Homes was born. Building it into a successful company, Kevin’s effort to reflect these non-negotiable home building elements was the obvious difference in every Premier home.
Whether it be individually through the custom home experience, or through one of Premier’s many communities built over the years, or partnerships and joint ventures; Premier Homes, under Kevin’s leadership, has always represented the best and most exciting attributes of the home building industry. His model homes have won accolades and awards from both his peers and home buyers alike. In recent years, these communities featuring Premier built products have received awards: Granite Bay, Serrano in El Dorado Hills and Catta Verdera in Lincoln. The North State Building Industry Association honored Premier’s Granite Bay community with the title of “Community of the Year” for 2013, as well as, “Best Product Design”, “Sales Office”, “Interior Design”…the list goes on.

Jason McKissick’s relationship with Premier Homes began in 1996. With a thirst for knowledge and his commitment to honing his craft in homebuilding, he worked his way up in the company, becoming a Site Superintendent at the young age of 22. Having built hundreds of homes, ranging from production to custom, and in award winning communities, his time at Premier Homes has gained him a high level of knowledge and experience in building and design.
Passion for creating beautiful and unique spaces is Jason’s driving force. He prides himself on attention to detail and providing exceptional customer service. Building long standing relationships with homeowners and trade partners has been the key to Jason’s success.

Jason lives in Grass Valley, CA with his wife, and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his family, playing music, working on projects, and gardening at their ranch home.
Steve Holkan is a retired veteran who proudly served our country in the United States Air Force for twenty years. He has been a finance professional in the field of home building for more than eighteen years, with a proven record of setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast paced, rapidly changing business environment. Steve draws on his broad base of accounting experience and analytical skills to develop effective solutions and manage financial planning, reporting and forecasting.
Rich Askew, Real Estate Broker and CMP, has been in the new home construction industry in the greater Sacramento area since 2002. He began his career on the sales side of the business and grew from Salesperson, to Sales Manager and then Director of Sales and Marketing. Rich then turned his focus to his passion for Customer Service in roles as Customer Service Manager, and Vice President of Customer Relations. Within these roles, Rich has been a member of Operations teams, providing him with knowledge and experience beyond his specialty fields.
His passion for building began with his first career as a boat builder crafting custom composite racing sailboats and managing a full service shipyard. These skills and a BS in Business Management have carried through to his home building career and have instilled in him a mindset of hands-on process improvement and critical thinking. In his role as Project Manager, Rich oversees and coordinates projects at all levels of the organization to serve the team and company objectives.
Brian Gibson joined the Premier team to head up purchasing for all custom and production home projects. Prior to moving to the Sacramento Region from the Bay Area in 2009, he spent over ten years in the High-Tech arena before transitioning to home renovation in 2011 and finally home building in 2013.
Having worked with two national builders previously, he brings several trades that know how to build with quality and efficiencies at higher volume levels.
Brian prides himself on the ability to build a true and strong partnership with the various trades. As a result, he helps foster a sense of pride in every trade that touches a Premier Home build. His commitment to integrity falls right in line with one of Premier’s many long-standing values.
Always researching new products and best building practices, Brian hopes to keep Premier positioned as the market leader when it comes to quality, efficiency and innovation.
Brian lives in Roseville with his wife and three kids. When he is not in the office, he is enjoying time coaching soccer, boating, camping and he especially loves to cook.
Where I've Been
Diving headfirst into marketing by helping to start, and then grow, one of the largest advertising agencies in Sacramento, I've never been one to shy away from a challenge. With clients such as Avodacos from Mexico, Downtown Napa, Sacramento Republic FC, and of course some of the region's best homebuilders, there isn't much I haven't done over the last 25 years. And one of my very first (and favorite) clients? Premier Homes of course.

I've spent 20 years doing landscaping, 10 years focused on inspecting and plan review, and of course a lifetime of customer service.
What I Bring to the Team
A sense of normalcy. We're a crazy bunch and someone has to do it.
On any given day you'll find me camping, taking random road trips, hiking, drinking excessively, starting fires, following conspiracies, enjoying ancient rituals, and participating in the occasional mockery. Not necessarily in that order.
